ROCHELLE — Several were on hand Wednesday afternoon for the unveiling of the City of Rochelle’s second Lincoln Highway Interpretive Mural by the Illinois Lincoln Highway Coalition.

The coalition is honored to have the opportunity to display the 35th and final mural of their series in Rochelle. This mural will be displayed on the wall of the Trans World Plastic Films, Incorporated building located 150 North 15th Street, along the Lincoln Highway.

Rochelle’s first mural was part of the original pilot program for the project. The series features 35 large scale hand-painted murals located in over two dozen communities along the 179-mile Illinois byway corridor.
