OREGON – Illinois State Treasurer Dan Rutherford is encouraging Ogle County residents to stop by the I-Cash kiosk at the Ogle County Old Courthouse in Oregon before Sept. 10 to see if they have any unclaimed cash or property.
“These kiosks are designed to help more people find their own money, and I thank Ogle County Treasurer John Coffman for allowing me to place a kiosk here,” said Treasurer Rutherford
In Ogle County, 15,979 owners have $2,288,512 in unclaimed property.
“The timing is good to have the kiosk in our office with our second installment of taxes due Sept. 6. Hopefully, our taxpayers who pay in person, will take the time to see if they have any unclaimed property,” said Coffman.
