MALTA — The Kishwaukee College Library will showcase their new series, Bridging Cultures: Muslim Journeys Bookshelf, with programs exploring the people, places, history, faith and cultures of Muslims in the U.S. and around the world. The series will run throughout the year and will include twenty-five books, three films and a host of resources. The goal of the program is to familiarize community members with diverse perspectives within Islam. This program is grant-funded and is a project of the National Endowment for the Humanities, conducted in cooperation with the American Library Association. All events are free and open to the public.
