ROCHELLE — The Rochelle Police Department, in conjunction with the Department of Natural Resources, will be hosting two hunter education classes taught by certified instructors.
The purpose of the class is to promote responsible hunter conduct, discuss the importance of wildlife management laws and regulations and to encourage the safe handling of firearms and firearm ammunition. Through hunter education, students obtain a better understanding of their obligations to other hunters and to themselves.
