OREGON — Oregon Police Chief Darin DeHaan confirmed that an autopsy was completed Wednesday by the Winnebago Coroner’s Office on Jonathan T. Williams, an 18-year-old Oregon student who died Sunday afternoon after reportedly being struck in the head or face at an under age drinking party early Saturday morning in Oregon.
DeHaan said that no results of the autopsy or toxicology tests will be released until the entire investigation is concluded and his office has requested some additional medical forensic analysis.
He added that his department is continuing the investigation and has talked to many witnesses.
“At this time several individuals have been identified, but no arrests will be made until the investigation is complete and has been turned over to the state’s attorney’s office for review,” DeHaan said. “The case is building and we are being methodical to ensure everything is done correctly.”
