Putting Small Acres to Work

• 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. – University of Illinois Extension is partnering with Kishwaukee Community College to host the workshop “Putting Small Acres to Work.” The workshop will feature sessions showing how a few extra acres will bring in additional income. Fireman’s Ball

• 8 p.m. to midnight — The 93rd annual Fireman’s Ball will be held in the Stillman Room at Hickory Grove Civic Center. The JD Brown Band will entertain with live music. Tickets are $1 in advance or $3 at the door. Tickets to the ball or the 50/50 raffle are available from any Rochelle firefighter.
