Local women’s event brings more than 100 together

ROCHELLE — The quarterly Rochelle Area Women’s Connection event received a record number of attendees on Jan. 25. According to one of the nine board coordinators, Theresa Crystal, 100 area women came to socialize, listen to inspirational stories and dine at the 90-minute event.

Of the 100 attendees, 39 women were new members, all of which range in ages in and around the Rochelle area. Crystal said that the event usually gathers more than 50 attendees.
