WYNN, Ark. — Guarld Cecil “Buck” Harris departed this life July 23, 2013, at Crossridge Community Hospital in Wynne, Ark.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Morris and Myrtle Spikes Harris; brothers, Robert and Chuck Harris; and sisters, Geneva Mettor, Lillian Fair and Maggie Hurst.
Buck was born Aug. 27, 1932, in Ingram, Ark., and was a concrete finisher for 30 years. After retiring, he enjoyed fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Irene Golden Harris; son, Larry Harris and his wife Kayla from Rochelle; daughter, Debbie Grell and husband Don from Vanndale, Ark.; grandchildren, Tonya and T.T. from Rochelle; great-grandchildren, Skyler, Makala and Caiden from Rochelle; brothers, Richard Harris and wife Cheryl of Vanndale, Ark., and Ray Harris and wife Charalette of Virginia Beach, Va.; sister, Ava Pulley and husband Aubrey from Wynne, Ark.; and several nieces, nephews and friends. He also leaves a special aunt, Bot Johnson, from Paragould, Ark., and departed life on her 97 birthday.
Visitation is Thursday, July 25, from 6-8 p.m. and services will be Friday, July 26, at 2 p.m. at Kernodle Funeral Home in Wynne, Ark. Burial will be in Vanndale Cemetery.
