OCHELLE — Cecile K. Bales, of Rochelle, will celebrate her 90th birthday on July 27. She graduated from Rochelle Township High School with the class of 1938.

She spent the war years at Electro Movtive in Aurora and later received a plaque for being employed at Swift Company for 20 years.

Cecile and the late Howard Bales had 57 years of marriage before he passed away on Oct. 20, 2007. Cecile now makes her home at Lincoln Manor in Rochelle.
