SILVIS — Rochelle’s 9-10 All-Stars bounced back from their second loss of the postseason to beat Moline 21-0 on Sunday afternoon in Silvis.

Rochelle scored four runs in the first inning after recording two quick outs and tacked on 17 more in the next two frames. Starting pitcher Garrett Glosser held Moline to three hits in four innings and struck out three in the four-inning shutout.

Kyle Eyster went 2-for-2 with four RBIs and Alex Harvey, Riley Lodico and Jarod Scarbrough drove in three runs each. Ralfie Mancinas Jr. scored four runs and Sam Johnson scored three.

On Monday night, Rochelle was defeated by Streator 13-0, which ended the run.

“This is a great group of kids that hustle and enjoy the game of baseball,” manager Rich Harvey said. “It has been a pleasure to coach them in the postseason and I wish them the best of luck in their future.”

Rochelle opened the sectional with a 3-1 loss to Manteno. Kyle Seebach scored on an RBI groundout by Ehren Metzger in the sixth inning to break up Manteno starter Payton Pressler’s shutout. Seebach finished with two hits and Glosser and Metzger had one.
