ROCHELLE -- The Rochelle Junior Tackle football program began practices this week. Athletes worked through various drills as they drilled on fundamentals to prepare for the upcoming season.
The Junior Hubs fifth, sixth, and seventh grade teams will open their seasons at home against Sterling Gold on Saturday, Aug.16 and the eighth grade team will play Sterling Gold on Sunday.

Fairways golf tourney set for this weekend

ROCHELLE -- Andy Wilkinson will look to make history this weekend with his first ever back-to-back Men's Open Division Championship at the Fairways Club Championship.
A win would also mark his fourth overall, one better than his father, Ted.

Nauman named new head sophomore volleyball coach

Rays top Genoa for undefeated season to cap Swanson’s career

ROCHELLE -- The Rochelle Rays topped Genoa 489-118 to complete their undefeated season and send head coach Marianne Swanson out with a splash in her final meet on Thursday night at Spring Lake Pool.
Rochelle's boys team outscored Genoa 262-67 and the girls team won 227-51. The Rays tallied 69 first-place, 35 second-place, 32 third-place finishes with 112 personal-bests.
