FREEPORT -- The Rochelle Little League Jr. League Petro team upped its record to 2-0 with a 14-12 victory over Freeport on Monday night.

ROCKFORD -- For Rochelle's Stephanie Abel, Saturday May 7 was a special and emotional day. Stephanie is a PLUS teacher at the Rochelle Middle School and she experienced her first Special Olympics Spring Games, held in Rockford.
