ROCHELLE -- The Junior Hubs rushed for over 200 yards on Kewanee and were led by Dallas List with 105 yards and three touchdowns for a 30-8 win on Saturday afternoon.
Rochelle (2-0) controlled the clock with its punishing run game throughout the game and Kewanee (0-2) scored its only points with just 3:50 left in the game.

ROCHELLE -- Ethan Etes dropped back and connected with Samuel Navejas for a 50-yard touchdown pass and Navejas also scored two touchdowns on interception returns to lead the seventh-grade Hubs to a 28-6 win.

NIU Football closes out fall camp

DEKALB, The Northern Illinois University football team closed out preseason camp Thursday afternoon with a 90-minute workout at Huskie Stadium in shorts and helmets.

NIU unveils new basketball floor

DEKALB -- NIU Athletics and the NIU Convocation Center unveiled a new basketball floor and court design today. The new surface is just the second for the Huskies in the Convocation Center, replacing the original floor that debuted with the building in 2002.

ROCHELLE -- Sterling-Gold ran back two kickoffs in the first quarter, but the seventh grade Hubs answered as four running backs rushed for over 50 yards, including Samuel Navejas who rushed for 99 yards on six carries and two touchdowns in a 28-18 win.
