City council approves comprehensive bicycle plan

ROCHELLE — Earlier this year, the City of Rochelle formed a Bike Plan Steering Committee in order to explore the possibility of developing a Bicycle Transportation Plan.

The committee hired Ed Barsotti, executive director of the League of Illinois Bicyclists, to help develop a plan for the city as he has consulted for many municipalities on this very issue.
