Fire Prevention Week

The Steward Elementary #220 students observed Fire Prevention Week (Oct. 1-5) by attending an awareness assembly by Steward firefighters Jason Pavlak, Terry Macklin and Laura Harmon. Important fire awareness procedures were covered with the students including the importance of having a family escape plan in the event of a fire as well as changing batteries in home fire alarms when we experience time changes in the fall and spring.
