ROCHELLE — The Rochelle World Youth in Science and Engineering (WYSE) Team performed for the record books at Kishwaukee Community College on Feb. 2.
Coach Brenda Schroeder reports that medalists include Alex Hauck, first place computer science, second place math; Matt Drought, first place engineering graphics; David Sage, second place engineering graphics; Justin Hauck, third place engineering graphics; Matt McMahon, second place biology; and Alex Prusator, first place English and first place biology.
Hauck and Prusator, achieved the highest scores in computer science and English in all divisions in the competition.
The team now heads to Northern Illinois University on March 13 to compete.
