SILVIS -- Rochelle's 9-10 All-Stars bounced back from their second loss of the postseason to beat Moline 21-0 on Sunday afternoon in Silvis.

PEORIA -- Taylor Isley was back in football pads last week, perhaps for the final time, to prepare for the 36th annual Illinois Coaches Association Shriner All-Star Football game in Peoria Stadium. ROCK FALLS -- Rochelle's 10-11 Softball All-Star team saved itself an extra trip on Monday by sweeping Rock Falls in the first two games of a best-of-three series on Saturday.

Rochelle's Junior League All-Stars advance to the state tourney
MILAN -- There are only five Junior League teams still playing in Illinois. Thanks to a much-needed defensive resurgence, Rochelle's All-Star squad is one of them.

ROCK FALLS -- Rochelle's 9-10 Little League All-Stars knew they had no margin for error after opening the Rock Falls District Tournament with a 4-2 loss to Freeport on July 10.
